This year, Willow Creek Community Church has launched an intentional initiative prompting people to “slow down, reflect, and prepare their hearts for the Christmas season.” One of the primary ways that Willow is doing this is by posting daily devotional readings for the twenty-five days leading up to Christmas (a period sometimes called Advent).
